Phunk Blue Moon is a blend of Funk Metal and Hip Hop. It's founding members  PhilePhil and Sir Nicholas began recording as a rap duo in 2005. As their prowess progressed they became more interested in live instruments.  The have now pulled together an all star band consisting of Ben Tenhundfield (formerly in slow moses)on bass, Ali Asvilarad (formerly in Chifauco) on guitar and Winter Baynes (veteran local drummer) on drums.  They have been together for just over a year, are already gathering interest from labels and are working toward a debut album with more than 12 original songs in their arsenal.
