Organic Logic formed in Mobile Al. in 1999.Performing at local venues including Southside Music Hall,Monsoons Jags Music Hall & Paddy O'Tooles.The band shared the stage with the likes of Michael Ray & The Cosmic Krewe & Rollin in the Hay.OL moved to tuscaloosa in 2000.Upon arrival in TTown they enjoyed a steady diet of local clubs like the Booth,Pounders & 4th & 23rd.After securing a nice following in TTown,the band ventured out to other cities in the southeast making millions of pennies and having fun doing it.The band has quite a few influences some being Pat Metheny,Phish & Santana.OL plays mostly originals but every now & then throws in a little Michael Jackson or Soul Hat for kicks.OL is made up now of original members Benji Thompson(vocals,& rhythm guitar),Tait Thompson(vocals,lead guitar),Joe Bonner(bass guitar),Bucky Hicks(drums,vocals) and local sound engineer legend Josh Murray.Percussionist Adam Hill has since moved to Phoenix Arizona loving some dry heat.Benji Thompsons grew up in Selma Al playing trombone in middle school and picking up the guitar his senior year in high school.Since has just enjoyed writing some music.Some his influences include Jimi Hendrix,Guy,Steely Dan ,Phish &Dave Martone.Joe Bonner began playing guitar in early high school.later becoming a fan of the bass .His influences are Bela Fleck,Parliament,Grateful Dead and Miles Davis.Tait Thompson brother of Benji ,started playing guitar at the age of fifteen.He claims to have discovered perfect pitch by the age of two weeks.He enjoys playing many instruments and writing music.His influences include Santana,Jeff Beck,Aquarium Rescue Unit,Michael Hedges & Medeski Martin & Wood.Bucky Hicks began playing drums around 14.Playing in various local mobile bands.After high studied music theory at South Al.He met up and jammed with OL @ a local club on an open mic night and went on to jam with them for many years.His influences include Medeski Martin & Wood,James Brown,Snow(the informer) & Frank Zappa.A very big thanks to Josh Murray,local sound engineer for all the years of keeping our sound in check.Played drums with OL in the beginning days left to attend sound engineering school in Arizona and reunited with them afterwords.

Glove Box Heat forming in 2008 in Tuscaloosa consist of OL members Tait Thompson(lead guitar ,vocals),Joe Bonner(bass).Justin Fees (drums)& Daniel Welch(Keyboards)have joined recently. .GBH plays in clubs in TTown and Birmingham and soon to city near you.Their sets consist of all original songs that will grab your attention and captivate your soul. Daniel Welch has played keyboards since he was fifteen, but didn't become active professionally until the age of 21 when he joined the dance/rock group The Great Big No! Since then he has been an active member of Tuscaloosa's music scene, playing with several bands of varying styles, sharing bills with acts such as The Disco Biscuits, DJ Logic, and Dubconscious. He officially joined Glove Box Heat in 2009. Justin Fees is a percussionist from Huntsville.  He gigs with various jazz, funk, and rock groups.  His influences include KL Smith, J Dilla, Bertrand Russell, Montague, Billy Cobham, birds, Zappa, E-40, Lenny White, Mac Dre, Elvin, and Albie.  Groups he has performed with include The Birmingham Seven, The Joel Harris Jazz Explosion, Soul Pocket The Nathan Haloway Trio, The Songbook Trio, The UA Jazz Ensmble, and the UA Standards Combo.  Justin recently joined Glove Box Heat.
